Dave Corcoran (1961 - 2007) built classic wooden boats - specializing in Herreshoff reproductions. Dave was known for his careful craftsmanship and attention to historical detail. Dave taught boatbuilding at the Landing School in Kennebunkport, Maine, and at the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum in Vermont, as well as teaching a course at MIT on lofting and three-dimensional design to advanced engineering and science students.

Dave's work has been featured in a variety of boatbuilding publications.
